Arlen G. Fleisher, MD, FACS, RVT is a member of the American College of Phlebology and is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. He is committed to the treatment of vein disease at his Hartsdale, New York location. In his career, he has had plenty of experience in treating varicose and spider veins while using some of the latest and most minimally invasive techniques in his field. His nice, comfortable office will help to reduce any anxieties the patient may have while giving highly-advanced treatment.

Dr. Fleisher graduated with his medical degree from the New York Medical College in 1981 after finishing his surgical internship and residency at St. Luke's/ Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. It was there that he served as Chief Resident. He fulfilled his fellowship in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at the University of British Columbia before returning to St. Luke's as an Assistant Attending in 1989.

Starting in 1990, Dr. Fleisher has worked as an Attending Surgeon in the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Sections of the Department of Surgery at Westchester Medical Center. With twenty years of clinical experience, Dr. Fleisher has also been a Visiting Clinical Fellow at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1981-1986, and he currently works as an Associate Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College.

Dr. Fleisher has published over two-dozen peer-reviewed articles and presented a number of papers at national meetings. He belongs to many county, state and national medical organizations and has been recognized by the American Lung Association of the Hudson Valley with the Sir William Osler, MD Humanitarian Award in 2004.
