For those seeking lung cancer treatment, Solid Tumor specialist, Asim Aijaz, M.D., is the newest team member of the Westchester Oncology and Hematology Group. His experience and skill in treating those with lung cancer is second to none and his personal touch with his patients and their families has made him a beacon guiding them through a very tough time in their lives.

Dr. Aijaz has been designated to be the advisor to the developing oncology program at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. Dr. Aijaz studied at the Aga Khan Medical College in Pakistan and completed his residency and fellowship at New York Medical College where he received numerous awards and recognitions for exemplary performance.

Dr. Aijaz focuses on the management of range of solid tumors. He is an attending physician at Westchester Medical Center, Hudson Valley Hospital Center and WOHG's outpatient office in Cortlandt Manor where he practices university oncology. Dr. Aijaz also has dedicated a portion of his time to providing medical care to underserved patients in Western New York State.
